WHO WE ARE

NC MedAssist is the only statewide non-profit pharmacy in North Carolina. Through our various programs, we provide prescription and over-the-counter medications to our neighbors in need at no cost. We believe that no one should ever have to choose between purchasing food or buying their medicine.

OVER THE COUNTER MEDICINES

Through the Mobile Free Pharmacy and OTC Store, we help those in need access over-the-counter medicines.

ECONOMIC MOBILITY

Through community partnerships with programs like NC Works, Running Works, and Center for Community Transitions, our associates in the Transitional Employment Opportunities program work in our store and warehouse to acquire long-term job skills.

Get Involved

Become a volunteer with NC MedAssist and make a difference by giving back to your community! Volunteers are important to the success of our organization. Our volunteers provide assistance with office tasks, sorting OTC products in the warehouse, assisting with Mobile Free Pharmacy events, and special events.
