The Free Pharmacy Program provides free prescription medications to North Carolina residents who do not have health insurance and have a qualifying household income.
This statewide program helps people with limited income access life-saving medications for chronic conditions like heart disease, diabetes, and asthma.
To qualify, applicants must meet the following requirements:
Live in North Carolina
No health insurance (We may be able to help some Medicare patients on a case-by-case basis.)
Have a qualifying household income
To qualify, total household income before taxes must be at or below the amounts listed below. Income limits represent 300% of the Federal Poverty Level.
There is no fee to apply. Eligible patients will be enrolled in the program for up to a year. All medications will be mailed to their address at no cost.
