Expanding Access to Nicotine Replacement Therapies Across Our Communities
The Alliance Health – Risk Corridor NRT Project is a collaborative initiative aimed at reducing tobacco-related harm by increasing access to over-the-counter nicotine replacement therapies (NRT) — including nicotine patches, gum, and lozenges — across the Alliance catchment area for uninsured individuals. Counties in the catchment area include: Cumberland, Durham, Harnett, Johnston, Mecklenburg, Orange, Wake.
This program supports a wide network of organizations, including:
County Health Departments
NC Harm Reduction Coalition
Free and Charitable Clinics
Federally Qualified Health Centers (FQHCs)
Alliance Health Providers
By equipping these community-based partners with essential NRT products, we are helping individuals take meaningful steps toward tobacco cessation, improving both individual health outcomes and community well-being.
