Thank you to everyone who joined us in commemorating 10 years of the NC MedAssist Executive Luncheon! Your presence helped make this milestone event a meaningful celebration of community, compassion, and commitment to care.
Through the generosity of our sponsors and donors, thousands of uninsured North Carolinians can access the life-saving prescription medications they need to live healthier, more stable lives. But the work doesn’t stop here.
Your impact helps us deliver hope—one prescription at a time.
If you were inspired by what you heard and saw, we invite you to keep the momentum going.
Make a gift today and be part of the difference.
At this year’s luncheon, we shared the story of Cathy from Davidson County. A caregiver to her 89 year old father, Cathy struggled to get the medication she needs to treat her stage 4 COPD with her limited income. She was constantly worried about affording her medication or providing for her basic needs. Cathy’s sister would share her old inhalers so Cathy could get some relief, but it wasn’t enough.
Two years ago, Cathy found out about NC MedAssist and she could finally breath easier. “It was a blessing and a miracle in the same,” she said. “I would be a mess. Actually, I mean, it would be a wonder if I would be alive if I didn’t have NC MedAssist.”
Congratulations to this year’s award winners!
