NC MedAssist Hurricane Recovery

NC MedAssist remains committed to serving our Western North Carolina neighbors on their long road to recovery following the devastating impact of Hurricane Helene. NC MedAssist is continuing to provide prescription medication to eligible individuals and free OTC medication care packages to communities impacted by Hurricane Helene.

Recovery takes time. We remain committed to support our WNC neighbors with access to free medication.

How you can help

Donate Funds

For every dollar donated, NC MedAssist can provide $16 in prescription medication. A gift of $230 can provide one patient with a prescription for one year.

Send Supplies

We maintain a list of OTC medications frequently needed in our warehouse. Shop our Amazon Wish List for a convenient way to support our efforts.

Host an OTC Drive

Engage your workplace, school, or faith group to collect and donate items needed for our medication distribution events. See below for a list of items in critical need and how to host an OTC drive.

Volunteer

We’re actively seeking volunteers to help with medication distribution events, package assembly, logistics, and outreach. The time you give directly supports families in crisis and recovery.
