How We Are Funded

NC MedAssist receives funding through the United Way and Mecklenburg County, as well as through grants written to private foundations.  There are also several local churches that support NC MedAssist annually.  NC MedAssist continues to raise money from individuals and corporations through fundraising events and direct mail appeals.

If you are a corporation and want to support NC MedAssist, there are three different ways of sponsoring with varying levels and benefits in each category:


CORPORATE PARTNER SPONSORSHIP:

This category offers the most comprehensive benefits and levels, including:

• Sponsor logo and link of NC MedAssist website
• Sponsor advertisement included in newsletter
• Complimentary tickets to the annual Prescription for Hope gala event

Annual Support Levels:

Diamond: $15,000  *  Platinum: $10,000  *  Gold: $5,000  *  Silver: $1,500  *  Bronze: $1,000
Actual benefits depend on sub-level of sponsorhsip.  More details on each level will be provided.


ADVERTISING SPONSORSHIP:

This category provides advertising space in our quarterly newsletter which is distributed via print and e-mail to over 4,500 addresses on our mailing list.

• Sponsor ad placed in printed and electronic newsletter
• Link to sponsor website included in electronic ad
• Artwork to be completed by the sponsor
• Print ad will be one color, electronic ad can be full color

Advertising Support Levels
1/2 page ad, measures 5" x 8": $500  *  1/4 page ad, measures 5" x 3.75": $250


PRESCRIPTION FOR HOPE GALA:

THE 'MAKE CHANGE' CAMPAIGN:

The 'Make Change' Campaign is a fundraising initiative for NC MedAssist that anyone and everyone can get involved with.  Reusable coin canisters are distributed throughout the Charlotte-Mecklenburg region for people to collect their loose change and return to NC MedAssist as a donation.  This is a great activity for classrooms, Sunday school classes, civic organizations, co-workers and family members to get involved in providing clients with their life-saving medications.  Contact Kelly Musante, Development Director if you would like to receive a 'Make Change' canister at 704-536-1790 or This e-mail address is being protected from spambots.
